July 2006:
	10th July The ceiling heights in what was the hallway (now the extended kitchen area) and the lounge differ by quite a large amount. So to even things up we are creating a false ceiling and one uniform level across the whole room. Here the batterns are in place...
	...before plasterboarding.
	We've also been busy outside finishing off our garage. The garage on the right does not belong to us, but our's looked in a similar condition when we started so this serves as a good before-and-after photograph! We've constructed a complete new wooden surround for the metal garage door which was then repainted.
	11th July This is another view into what will become the kitchen area.
	The bathroom suite has arrived!
	14th July So have the kitchen units! We've also chased in for the kitchen electrics on the back wall.
	The bathroom suite is being fitted.
	The entire property will be replastered. Here the kitchen wall has been done.
	19th July The kitchen is taking shape. Since there was no kitchen here before (there were stairs here originally!) there is no plumbing in place, so we have had to run pipework to the new kitchen area first.
	25th July The kitchen looking a lot more finished now. Just the cupboard doors to hang.
	The bathroom is taking shape too.
